Back in the saddle, but on a new horse

Hey…it’s Michael…I’m back in the saddle, but I’m riding a completely different horse. If you are someone on the narrow path, you owe it to your self to watch a few of the videos coming up. Suffering has proven to be the GREATEST of God’s blessings in my life, and now I’d like to share those blessings with you!

You might find yourself being shocked, angry, sad, frustrated or even elated to hear how drastically my beliefs have changed and what I am re-learning, through tremendous suffering, about subjects like God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, the devil, people, the “good life”, suffering, adversity, success, divorce, life, business, family, forgiveness, pride, insecurity, the American Dream, dysfunctional childhoods, church, happiness, fulfillment, peace, joy, work, etc.

What if?  What if you were completely wrong about some of the most talked about subjects in the Bible and life?  What happens when you have a life experience that puts your “beliefs” to the test and your beliefs FAIL?  What if you realize that LOTS of people incorrectly believe the thing that you NOW know is NOT true?  What do you do?  You tell people and although only a FEW will want to listen, you don’t worry about that, because you already know that Jesus said, narrow is the path and narrow the gate that leads to life and only a few find it.  But nonetheless, you know your part…you just have to tell them…the rest is up to God.

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. – 1Peter 4:10

Torn Between God and Success

Hello! My name is Michael Chriswell. If you are someone who has ever experienced tension in your soul, between your desire to be successful and your desire to fully trust God and his Word, then I believe you will benefit tremendously from hearing my story. I was an active “Christian” for 19 years, then I experienced God.

I overcame a tremendously difficult childhood, filled with everything from sexual abuse, to bullying, to even being told my father wasn’t my father, to then living the “good life”. At age 15, I was living in a dirty trailer park, with my single parent Mother. By the time I was 34, I had a successful business, an annual income in excess of $225k, was living in a $900k home, had a garage full of paid for toys, private school for my two oldest kids, and I traveled all over the United States as a speaker and trainer, while being called the next “Zig Ziglar” by my clients. In 2009 I was approached by the largest seminar company in the world, to discuss the opportunity of sharing the platform with former Presidents, Business Leaders and some of the best speakers in the world.

My only problem with all the success, was that my desire to be happy and successful, was being challenged by my desire to Love God and follow him and his Word, wholeheartedly. After confessing my deeply divided heart to him, I began to experience a very dramatic set of events that would forever change my life and the way I viewed God, life, success, business and purpose.

God has written some dramatic and enlightening stories into my life, that I am currently working on detailing in a series of books. I want to help others escape the trap of being caught between the secular and the spiritual aspects of life, and to teach others how to enjoy a very deep and personal relationship with God. This website is where I’ll be sharing some of the insights, lessons and experiences with God, as I’m working on the books.
